The Complicated Grief Treatment Program is committed to training mental health professionals to recognize and treat complicated grief and other traumatic experiences across the lifespan. We currently have two training initiatives:

• The complicated grief training initiative is focused on training mental health professionals to recognize and treat complicated grief. We are interested in teaching people the things we’ve learned about bereavement, grief, and mourning. We seek to train professionals to use the principles, strategies, and procedures that we've devised through our research studies.
• The trauma-focused CBT for children training initiative is focused on training master’s level social work students in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), a proven efficacious mental health intervention for children who have experienced trauma.
